Overview

Milevo is a freelance invoicing, time tracking, and project management app for iOS. All of your business data — clients, projects, time entries, invoices, and your business profile — is stored locally on your device. We are committed to transparency about the limited cases where data leaves your device, and why.

Data Stored Locally

Milevo stores the following on your device using Apple's SwiftData:

• Business profile: your business name, contact info, and branding preferences
• Clients: names, contact details, and notes you enter for each client
• Projects: project names, rates, and status
• Time entries: logged hours and descriptions
• Invoices and payments: amounts, line items, due dates, and payment status
• Preferences: app settings such as currency, tax rates, and invoice defaults

This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly share or export it (e.g., emailing a PDF invoice to a client via the iOS share sheet).

Data We Do Not Collect

• No account or login required to use Milevo
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No access to your contacts
• Your client lists, invoices, and time entries are never uploaded to our servers

Analytics

Milevo uses PostHog for anonymous product analytics to understand how features are used and improve the app. Analytics events include general usage patterns (which screens are viewed, whether invoices are created, paywall views) but never include your clients, invoice amounts, time-entry descriptions, or any personally identifiable business data. In-App Purchases

Milevo offers optional Pro subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts from Apple — no personal business data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

AI Quick Create

Milevo's optional "Quick Create" feature lets you type a short natural-language description (for example, "invoice Acme Corp for 8 hours of design work at $120/hour") and converts it into a structured invoice draft. When you use this feature, the text you type is sent through our Supabase-hosted backend to a language-model provider solely to generate the draft, and is not retained by us beyond the request. Do not include sensitive personal information in Quick Create prompts. This feature is optional and only runs when you explicitly submit a prompt.

Feedback from the Review Prompt

If you leave free-text feedback in response to Milevo's in-app review prompt, that feedback is sent through our Supabase backend and forwarded by email to our support team so we can follow up if appropriate. No other data from your device is attached. This is optional and only runs when you submit feedback.

Push Notifications

Milevo can send local notifications (e.g., payment-due reminders, timer alerts) scheduled on your device. These are generated locally and do not involve our servers.

Crash Reporting

Milevo may collect anonymous crash reports containing technical diagnostic data (device model, OS version, stack traces) to help us fix bugs. Crash reports do not include personal data, client lists, invoices, or time entries.

Children's Privacy

Milevo is designed for working adults managing their own business. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted here with an updated effective date.
